About the plugin

“Restricted Page” plugin was created to prevent unauthorized users from viewing particular pages. The plugin must be placed on the destination page.

For logged-in users the plugin can show (in addition to the content of the page) predefined text and “Log out” button.

For not logged in users plugin shows a predefined texts, login form and sign in button instead the page content.

Configuring the plugin.

  1. Login to your WP site with the administrator’s credentials.
  2. Go to Settings->Restricted page options.
  3. You can set the appearance of the plugin. Note that you can use HTML tags to format the appearance of the texts (eg. <strong>some text</strong>).

How to use

A simple way.

All you need is to place . You can see the result at this demo page.

An advanced technique.

You may want to to show some text for all users. In this case you can place common text between opening.

In this case:

  • For logged in users the common text will appear before the DISCONNECT button.
  • For not logged in users the common text will at the end of the page.
